Today we took a 114 miles ride to Agawa Canyon on an Algoma Central Railway train. We left the station at 8 am and did not get back until 6:45 pm. We were back a bit later than expected as the train was slowed by the high heat and the effects on the track. On board there is a very good video that explains much about the geography of the area as well as how Sault Ste Marie evolved into the city it is today. Once at the canyon we got to take a stretch walk and see some of the waterfalls.

Tomorrow we head to Thessalon about 90 km away after a very nice break in Sault Ste Marie.
